Basic life support is a level of medical care which is used for victims of life-threatening illnesses or injuries until they can be given full medical care at a hospital.

In this course we explore how to administer basic life support correctly.

  • What is basic life support for adults and children
  • Administering CPR
  • Clearing obstructed airways (adults and children)

Those working in health and social care requiring an understanding of their role and responsibilities.
