Understand why projects fail, and learn how to plan for success. A defining trait of great project managers is the ability to foresee potential problems and plan to avoid them. But they don’t use a crystal ball: they understand the fundamental reasons why projects fail, and they know how to apply these insights to particular projects. Guided by audio narration, and engaging with interactive exercises.

Course Objectives

You will learn:

  • The three ways a project can fail: on cost, time and quality
  • The three internal pressures: preparation, people and processes
  • The three external pressures: business environment, dependencies and technical problems
  • How to identify the risks facing your project
  • How to plan for risk

The course also includes a short assessment, so learners can test their mastery of the material
