Overview

To treat people as individuals, we need to value their beliefs and preferences and not treat them as a diagnosis. This eLearning course aims to ensure that the learner has the knowledge and understanding to be able to work to best practice. The course reviews key terms and introduces the learner to types of unlawful discrimination.

Objectives

This training will enable learners to:

  • Recognise the differences of diversity, equality, inclusion and discrimination
  • Identify how you can work in an inclusive way
  • Challenge discrimination to promote change
  • Identify a range of sources of information, advice and guidance
