Overview

This RoSPA-accredited, level-2, e-learning course is suitable for anyone who is required to know and understand their fire safety rights and responsibilities as a member of an organisation and holds the position of the responsible person within the organisation.

The course includes optional voiceover recorded by a professional actor. It is specifically designed to introduce learners to risk assessments, what the common protective measures are and what to do to reduce hazards.

Course Content

  • Conducting the Risk Assessment - Requirements of the responsible person, the 5 steps to risk assessment – in detail. Assessing, removing hazards and reducing risk, recording your findings, producing an action plan, training, reviewing and updating the risk assessment.
  • Taking Action - How to reduce risk and remove hazards, common protective measures – fire detection and warning systems, escape routes, emergency lighting, requirements of fire signs, passive and active fire protection.

This course has a minimum of 25 learner registrations for us to provide a quotation.
