This course will demonstrate how to work safely at height when using a ladder, kick stool or other equipment as part of your everyday work. 

Objectives

In this course you will learn:

  • The Work at Height Regulations 2005
  • How to decide if working at height is necessary
  • How to identify the risks involved
  • How to plan your work at height
  • How to set up and safely use kick stools, leaning ladders and stepladders.

About the Course

It comes as no surprise that falls are a leading cause of workplace injuries – even resulting in fatalities. The human costs of avoiding proper training for work at height can be devastating.

It’s important to ensure any employee working at height has been trained and that suitable control measures are in place to reduce the risk of a fall. More than just best practice, training for working at height is a legal requirement in many countries
