Overview

An emergency is an unexpected event or situation that threatens employees, customers or the public that can disrupt or shut down normal operations. Though they are unlikely, emergencies do happen in the workplace, and it's best to be prepared.

This course looks at the importance of emergency preparedness and response plans and highlights key actions staff should take in the event of an emergency.
