Overview

Every organisation faces risks of financial crime and may be subject to robust regulations to prevent enabling criminal activity. With often a legal, as well as a moral obligation, to identify and report suspicious activity, this course provides a clear and practical overview of how criminals exploit the system and what you must do to prevent involvement. You'll explore key concepts, characteristics, and telltale warning signs of all major forms of financial crime: Bribery, Fraud, Tax Evasion, and Money Laundering; and actionable steps to take if you encounter them. By understanding the risks and how to spot them, frontline staff can uphold regulatory compliance and be an effective line of defence against financial crime.
