Course Overview

When two or more managers are responsible for leading a team, they are called co-managers.

Co-managers will take responsibility for different aspects of the managerial role but support the team as a whole. Co-managers can help to bring out the best in the staff group.

Understanding the best ways to communicate with more than one manager can help you get the best out of your job.

In this course, we look at positive strategies to help you if you’re reporting to more than one manager. We will explore ways you can use open communication skills and get on top of time management. We will also look at how to approach and resolve issues that may arise.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

  • Identify the benefits of being co-managed
  • Demonstrate effective communication and time management skills to improve working relationships with co-managers
  • Analyse collaboration and teamwork strategies to enhance a co-managed team
