Overview

In any workplace where dangerous substances are present, the potential for fires, explosions, and other serious incidents is real. Annually, several hundred workers in the UK suffer injuries from exposure to harmful substances, and dozens of workers suffer injuries related to workplace explosions. The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) exist to help businesses control the dangers associated with hazardous materials. This course will walk you through the key elements of DSEAR, including risk assessment, control measures, and emergency planning.
