Overview

Electrical hazards like damaged cords, missing ground prongs, and overhead power lines can turn routine tasks into life-threatening situations. The Electrocution Awareness course covers common electrical hazards and the controls to prevent shock and electrocution, including how to inspect tools and equipment, work safely near energized sources, and respond correctly if an incident occurs. You don't need to be an electrician to stay safe - you just need to know what to look for and how to act. An interactive simulation is available for desktop, mobile, and VR headsets.  Drawn from OSHA Standard: 1910.303–.305, 1910.333–.335, 1926.403–.417, and industry best practices.
