Overview

When a fire starts, people need to make fast, informed decisions under pressure. The Fire Protection course builds awareness of how fire protection supports a safer workplace by helping learners understand what is in place, what their role is, and when immediate action matters most. The immersive simulation places learners in realistic fire scenarios where they must stay calm, assess the situation, and choose the safest next step. An interactive simulation is available for desktop, mobile, and VR headsets.

Objectives

On completion of this course the learner will be able to:

• Respond safely during a fire event. Identify and properly use fire extinguishers.
• Recognize and report fire protection hazards before an emergency occurs.
• Recognize fire protection systems and emergency response roles.
• Explain inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements for extinguishers and fire protection systems.
