Course Overview

Where vehicles and pedestrians share space, a banksman plays a vital role in preventing harm. This course explores the banksman's responsibilities and the law, common site hazards and how to choose a safe position. You'll also learn how clear signals and communication help everyone understand what's happening. You'll practise recognising when it's safe to continue and when work must stop. This course uses realistic situations to help you make safe decisions on site.
