Overview

Construction sites are high-risk environments where effective communication can be the difference between a safe day and a preventable accident. Recent HSE statistics show that construction accounts for the highest number of work-related fatalities, with falls from height being the leading cause.

Toolbox talks and team briefings are proven methods for maintaining safety awareness and preventing incidents. These short, focused discussions help teams stay alert to changing conditions and reinforce critical safety messages when they matter most.

This course provides practical guidance on planning, structuring and participating in effective safety communications. Featuring videos with expert insights and real-world scenarios, you'll learn how to contribute to meaningful safety discussions, address challenging situations and help create a culture where safety conversations become second nature.
