Course Overview

Presentations with Copilot in Microsoft PowerPoint teaches you how to build slide decks using an AI assistant, rather than starting from a blank screen. The course shows how prompts, files, and design tools work together, so you can be able to produce polished presentations in less time.

Most presentation training assumes you already know how to design a slide. This course starts earlier, looking at the real problem: manual formatting, blank-page syndrome, and the time lost searching for the right image or icon. You will see how a single prompt can generate a starting deck, and why iteration beats a one-shot request.

You will learn to build skills across both the desktop and web versions of Copilot. This includes selecting text or images for contextual editing, choosing the right AI model for chat or image work, and using the 'Transform into visual' tool with words like 'stylized' to sharpen results. You also learn how to link source files, such as spreadsheets or PDFs, so that Copilot can build charts from real data.

These skills come together in familiar work scenarios. You will know how to turn a dense PDF report into a short deck with speaker notes, summarize a long presentation into a quick FAQ, or apply a Brand Kit so a generated deck matches your company's logo and colors. Copilot also saves new files to OneDrive, so nothing gets lost after they are created.

By the end, you will better understand how to use Copilot to issue clear prompts and refine its output. You will be able to save time on formatting and idea generation, allowing you to focus on strategy. This course suits business professionals, project managers, and anyone who creates presentations and wants to work efficiently.
